Shelfish is a confessional for the books we bought with excellent intentions and then quietly avoided. Instead of rating books, readers post the title they abandoned and the honest—often ridiculous—reason why.

Our mission is to make reading guilt lighter, funnier, and more social. No streaks, no performative productivity, and no requirement to finish the book before joining the conversation.
